A few years back I got this t-shirt from some outdoor festival on Church Street and was shocked at the blatant copyright infringement – where were the Skywalker Police? That was before I knew about “fair use” (or whatever it’s called up here in Canada) where artists can remix ideas freely and call it pop art. (guilty as charged<\/a>)<\/p>\n

I love this shirt because it’s an arty version of something burned into our collective conciousness. However, it’s not entirely obvious to most people what it is, right off the bat.
